Middle School Social Studies

 

Grade 6 - Students will study world history from ancient civilizations, through the middle ages and onto the Renaissance and Reformation.

Students will study the continents of the world, learning about the countries that comprise each continent. We also are involved in National History Day.

Grade 7 - Students will research and analyze the creation of the United States.

Chronological order will take students from studies of the First Americans through Reconstruction after the United States Civil War.

Grade 8 - students will research and analyze the major historical events that have shaped modern America.

Chronological order will take students from studies of United States Westward Expansion through new challenges developed after September 11, 2001.
