Meet Your New Principal, Kari Zobel
My name is Kari Zobel, and it is an honor to serve as the new principal of Annunciation Catholic School. I look forward to working with staff, students, parents and the larger community to continue the school’s commitment to academic excellence, community service and developing faith-filled leaders.
I have served in Catholic education for nearly 15 years, as both a teacher and administrator. Most recently, I have been both the assistant principal and interim principal at Saint Hubert Catholic School in Chanhassen. During my time at St. Hubert, I have worked collaboratively with the community to create a positive atmosphere of teaching and learning that is student focused and allows those students to find their strengths and to grow as future leaders.
My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Saint Catherine’s University. I also earned both my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction and my educational specialist degree in educational leadership from the University of Saint Thomas. Additionally, I have taken several courses in engineering education at Saint Thomas as well.
My husband Mark and I live in St. Paul and are members of Nativity of Our Lord parish. We have three sons who attended both Nativity and Saint Thomas Academy for high school.
