Middle school students can expect one to two hours of homework on a regular basis. Students
are expected to complete the work on time. A homework “buddy” is chosen by each
family in case of absence. Students should work out a plan with their buddies
to receive the assignments and homework material. Students who miss school due
to a family vacation should let individual teachers know in advance. Make-up
work must be completed according to the time-line of the teachers. Generally,
homework is not given out in advance. Parents will be notified if students
continue to have missing homework. Teachers may have a student stay after
school to complete missing homework.
