Improv has a long history at Annunciation School.  It  began twenty-some years ago with seventh and eighth graders performing an improvisational play developed by the students and Ms. Strickland.  The first performance of Improv as it is recognized today occurred in 1982.  The cast consisted of about twenty-five students who wanted to take part in something a little “different.”  Today we have over three times the number of participants and a second director.

Classes begin in January and culminate with performances in May.  While creating their own show, students learn movement, voice, acting, improvisation, as well as the importance of creativity, teamwork, trust, and dedication to hard work.
