We’re Excited to Announce We Are Now an Official IB World School!

Jun 8th, 2018

This week we received notification of our official authorization as an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) World School.  Annunciation Catholic School is proud to announce its place in this elite group of schools worldwide. Being an IB World School supports us in achieving our vision to “foster each child’s potential to create a better world through faith, virtue, knowledge, and service to others.

With more than 4,500 schools offering International Baccalaureate (IB) programs in 147 countries worldwide, we are delighted to be a member of this ever-growing global community!  The IB is recognized across the world for its innovative approach to education.  Welook forward to embracing these innovative approaches as we continue to build on our strong history of excellence as a leader in Catholic education.

We are excited for all to share the positive results of becoming an IB World School and believe these results will be evident in our community as our students undertake activities that enhance social, cultural and economic environments locally, nationally and internationally. As our students grow through inquiry and discover learning, making real-world connections, they truly reach their full potentiality. Each child discovering who they are called to be and how they can make an impact on the world.

We are proud of this great accomplishment and grateful for everyone involved!  We ask for your prayers and support as we continue on this journey. Join our joy as we work to realize our shared vision of a better and more peaceful world, achieved through intercultural understanding, faith, and respect.
