Take a ride, Buy a Snack & Help Build a Rain Garden

Dec 1st, 2016

Looking for some holiday family fun or a date night while supporting a good cause? Come to the Como-Harriet Streetcar to enjoy a ride!

Holly Trolley
Take a streetcar ride with Santa and warm yourself by a friendly fire. The historic streetcar is decked out for the holidays. The ride is about 15 minutes and no advance ticket or reservation is required.

Sat & Sun, December 3 & 4, 12:30 to 3:30 PM
$4 per passenger

Celebrate the serenity and beauty of a winter night. Our historic streetcar will be decorated inside and out with lights and seasonal greens and hundreds of luminaries light the right-of-way. There’ll be a fire to cozy up to and marshmallows to roast. Will Santa make an appearance? This is a rare opportunity to experience the night in a whole new light.

Saturday, December 3, 6 to 8:30 PM
$5 per passenger

While you wait you can purchase hot drinks and snacks from Donovan Peterson (Annunciation Class of 2013). He is raising money for his Eagle Scout project, a series of 5 raingardens at the front of the Church that will collect stormwater from over 16,000 square feet of impermeable surfaces.

This will keep dirty water from entering Minnehaha Creek, beautify the grounds with native plants and offer teaching opportunities for the school.
