Interested in Checking Out the Catholic Faith? Maybe RCIA is for you!

Aug 22nd, 2015

RCIA/The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a wonderful way to discover what it can mean in your life to be Catholic. You might know someone who’s just waiting for you to suggest RCIA.

  • Maybe you’re not Catholic but you sometimes wonder about the Catholic Faith and Church.
  • Perhaps you grew up Catholic and you want to see yourself moving back into a practice of the Faith.
  • You might want to be a sponsor for someone coming into the Church.
  • It could be that your were baptized Catholic and made 1st Communion, but somehow the opportunity to be confirmed somehow got away from you.
  • Suppose you were raised Catholic and you’re committed to the practice of our Faith. This could be a time in your life when you want to deepen in your understanding and appreciation of what all this means...
  • Might you be finding yourself taken up in the “Francis Effect”? The Pope’s joy and approachableness, plus his commitment to the poor and care for Creation have truly marked his Papacy; people are taking another a look at the Catholic Church.

RCIA meets weekly from early October through the beginning of May, usually on Thursday nights. Our group composition ranges from people who just want to try out a session or 2 to those who want to deepen in their Faith and are interested in sharing it. For more information contact Sr. Sue.
