Gift of Being Grand: A Catholic Grand-parenting Conference

Saturday, August 27, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Mary Mother of the Church, Burnsville 

Learn about God's plan for grandparents about how to pass on a Heritage of Faith. Presenters include Archbishop Andrew Cozzens, Jeff Cavins, Judy Cozzens, Katherine Kersten and topics include: The Importance of Intergenerational Faith in Our Culture Today, God's Message for Grandparents, Pope Francis and the Role for Grandparents in the Family and Parish, How to Strengthen Faith with Adult Children and Grandchildren. Breakout sessions will address: Resources for Prayer and Passing on the Faith, Grand-parenting Through Difficulties, How to be a Grandparent When You Are Miles Away, Unleashing the Healing Power of Prayer, Discipling Grandchildren: Putting Faith into Practice. 

Cost: $25 per person/$45 per couple before August 1; $30 per person/$55 per couple after August 1. (Includes morning coffee, granola bars, box lunch and afternoon snack.)
