“Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.”

We are wrapping up our week of celebration and activities for our Catholic Schools Week. What a wonderful and fun week we had! Thank you to the student council for planning the week’s themes and events. Also, thank you to the staff and parents for supporting the students and for your commitment to Catholic education at Annunciation School! We are truly blessed!!

Annunciation School is alive and buzzing with excitement….

This week, in addition to Catholic Schools Week, we hosted two parent events: Middle School Preview Night and Preschool Open House.

We had a full house for our middle school information night where 5th grade parents heard from our middle school student leaders, alumni, parents and teachers – all with stories to share about how Annunciation School has changed their lives and impacted the future of the students in our school. The night concluded with sessions hosted by teachers including a game of Jeopardy to highlight our English/Language Arts, Social Studies, and Religion courses and a math demonstration with iPad lessons for math and science. The rooms were filled with energy and enthusiasm! We are excited to have our 5th graders move into the middle school next year.

There was a steady stream of parents and families visiting our preschool, learning more about our new partnership with LADC and our expanded program for next fall. Preschool children were meeting their new “classmates” and filled the room with smiles and laughter. We are anxious to welcome our newest members of the Annunciation School family. We look forward to having you a part of our school!

Both events reminded us of the vibrant community that is the foundation of Annunciation School. It is this sense of family that creates the special home for our students to grow and learn. We are grateful for such wonderful support!
