End of the Year

May 29th, 2015

It is hard to believe we are approaching our last week of school for the 2014-2015 school year. Our 8th graders are preparing to graduate next Tuesday.  The other grades are wrapping up their lessons, heading out on field trips and celebrating their hard work. All of this is happening while teachers and staff prepare for our final day with summer blessing and field day!

As a community, we are richly blessed. God has provided us amazing people who give of themselves every day to make the Annunciation School experience something special for our children. Students, teachers, staff, parents, parishioners, community members and more all share time, talent, and treasure so we can live the mission of Annunciation School – the vision the Dominican sisters set forth over 90 years ago.

While we end the year with some changes ahead - including saying goodbye to Father Jim after his many years of service to Annunciation – we also look forward to the coming year - welcoming the new Pastor, Father Park, beginning the journey of becoming an International Baccalaureate School, sharing the traditions of Annunciation with our new students and families, growing together as a community of faith, and more. Throughout it all, we look to God to guide us and thank Him daily for the blessings He has so generously given to us – most importantly, each of you.

Thank you for all of the support, prayers, work, and effort you have given to make this a successful year. It truly takes the whole community to reach our goals and be the best school we can be. I wish you a blessed and safe summer. God’s blessings to our graduates and see you all next year!
