End Human Trafficking at the Super Bowl

Nov 25th, 2017

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me….”  Mt 25:35

As Faith communities we should not underestimate the role we can play in primary prevention and support mobilization to end human trafficking.  In recognition of the increase in human trafficking that has taken place in other cities that have hosted the Super Bowl in recent years, some Twin Cities churches of various denominations, as well as many Religious Sisters, are joining together to prepare for the possibility of traffickers taking advantage of this major event here in February 2018.

Their efforts will include providing of emergency shelters to house, clothe, and feed potential trafficking victims.  In the next few weeks, please watch for additional details about how we all can help this rescue effort.
