Coats for Kids: October 8-9

Oct 4th, 2018

Warming heads, hands and hearts:

Put your faith into action by donating a new or gently used winter coat or other piece of warm winter clothing. We are partnering with the Knights of Columbus to collect warm winter clothing for those in need, in recognition of the dignity of all people. Each student attending the Mass of the Holy Spirit is asked to bring a coat or other piece of warm winter clothing (hat, mittens or snow pants) to the Mass.

October 8-9: Students bring winter clothing items to school

October 10: Students bring winter clothing item to the Mass of the Holy Spirit

Items Needed: Coats, hats, mittens/gloves, snow pants. Children and teen sizes

About Coats for Kids
In 2009, the Knights of Columbus launched a Coats for Kids program to ensure every child in need has a warm winter coat. This was in response to the fact that 21% of American children live in poverty and go without a winter coat each year.
