Big Weekend Ahead!

Sep 17th, 2015

It is a big weekend ahead for Annunciation’s community. The campus has been buzzing as we prepare for our Fun Run and SeptemberFest. Here are details on the events:

Annunciation’s Fun Run!

Tomorrow is the BIG day of for our Fun Run which kicks off SeptemberFest. We are in our final day of preparation and the students, staff, APO, parents, and Apex team leaders have been busy promoting leadership, fitness and fundraising for our school. Here are some key points to note:

Did you know……?

  • 10% of the funds raised by the students will go directly back to their teacher to use in the classroom
  • APO will contribute funds raised towards helping update the school auditorium
  • To help support our local community - anytime a student reaches ten dollars per lap -  Apex Fun Run partners with the organization Will Play for Food to donate 40 meals to children in need in Minnesota.

Race Times:

Please join our school, APEX staff and APO Friday morning for the Fun Run. (If the weather is nice, the run will take place between the school and the church. If it is raining, the run will take place at the same times in the gym.)

The times for the APEX Fun Run are as follows:

Grades K, 1, 2                        9:00am

Grades 3, 4, 5                      10:10am

Grades 6, 7, 8                      11:20am

We hope you can join us to volunteer or just cheer your children on during this fun event.

Thank you for helping make this event successful!

What a great way to support Annunciation parish and school by attending this weekend’s SeptemberFest! Invite your family and friends – all are welcome!

The weekend is filled with fun events, food, games, prizes, and more. This is also a great way to meet new families and spend time with others in building our “family” here at Annunciation. Good luck to the many school wiffle ball teams, too! Looks like great weather and fun events ahead.

New this year is the Zero K on Friday night and Father Park’s Home Run Challenge on Saturday night. See the Daily Schedule.

See you there!

*Remember - Bottle Boutique & Pie Drop off! Tomorrow is the last day to bring in bottles for the boutique. Unopened bottles can be donated and dropped off in the foyer.  Also, pies will be conveniently collected in car line tomorrow morning!

Thanks for your support!
