08/30/2017 Parent Information Night
On September 6th at 6:30, we will gather in the auditorium together to officially kick off the new school year. Then, we invite you to visit your student’s classrooms to receive more information about each grade level for the coming year.
08/23/2017 Back to School Night is Tonight!
We hope you all received the packet of paperwork earlier this month. This packet included all of the required forms for next school year. Please be sure to return all of the required forms to the office before Back To School Night (August 23 from 4-7pm). The school office is open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am-4pm.
08/23/2017 Wiffle Ball Spirit Wear
Annunciation Friends and Wiffle Ball Enthusiasts,
This year we are offering moms, dads, kids, and all other wiffle ball fans a way to show their spirit. We have an online store offering wiffle ball gear featuring our own Annunciation Wiffle Ball logo.
To keep costs low, this is a temporary store closing at midnight on August 30th. Items will be shipped to Annunciation prior to Septemberfest and distributed.
Wiffle ball has been a way for our entire family to stay involved and active at Annunciation and we will donate $1 for each item purchased toward the wiffle ball account, which pays for new equipment and grounds keeping materials.
08/23/2017 Join Our Joy.
You feel the magic in our classrooms.
You see the spark in your child’s eyes.
You love watching them become who they are meant to be.
That’s called Potentiality. That is the Annunciation promise. Join our joy. Choose Annunciation.
08/21/2017 APO & the Box Tops Collection Program
APO is now coordinating the Box Tops Collection Program! Box tops can be dropped at school office or in collection bins in Church basement (now located by Restrooms).
You can send them in a variety of ways:
08/21/2017 Health Office Is Looking For More Volunteers
Can you put on a band aid? Can you take a child’s temperature in their ear? Can you make an ice pack with ice cubes and baggies? If you answered “yes” you’re qualified to help out in the Annunciation Health Office. We need one parent in the Health Office from 11am to 1pm each day. Any health related background is certainly a bonus, but not a requirement.
08/16/2017 Mass Schedule Change
EXTENDING TIME PERIOD FOR THE 9:30 AM SUNDAY MASS:
I have decided to continue the one Sunday Morning Mass at 9:30 am until at least September 10th. (For SeptemberFest weekend, on the 16th & 17th, we will have a special Mass schedule.) The reason for this extension is to take these next few weeks to engage you, our parishioners, and see if it is best for our community to permanently keep the one Sunday morning Mass at 9:30 am instead of going back to two Sunday morning Masses.
Please note, there will be no changes to the weekly Saturday evening Mass at 5:00 pm and the weekly Sunday evening Mass at 5:30 pm.
I will speak more about this at weekend Masses in the coming weeks and talk about how I hope to engage the parish to get your feedback.
Thank you for your continued support of this amazing community we have here at Annunciation!
08/14/2017 Outdoor Mass at SeptemberFest
We are excited to announce that Bishop Cozzens will preside at the 10:30 AM Mass on the West Lawn during SeptemberFest weekend. Please join us for one of the best mass experiences of the year!
08/03/2017 Eli Pollock’s Goodbye Party
Please join us on Sunday, August 20 at the 9:30am Mass as we honor Eli’s nine years of service at Annunciation as our Director of Music and Liturgy.
Eli will sing at this Mass, and after Mass there will be coffee and donuts and a chance for people to thank Eli for all his hard work for our parish. We will miss you Eli! God bless you as you begin your work as the Music Teacher at St. Thomas More Catholic School in St. Paul!
08/02/2017 Summer Update & Fall Preparation
Dear Annunciation School Families,
We hope you are having a wonderful summer. Our summer has been busy as we prepare for the new school year ahead. Though we still have a few weeks of summer ahead, we know the first day of school will be here before we know it!
In this letter, we have several updates to share and some information regarding our Back to School Night on August 23:
